Just for fun, Mahari and Mizu a few years older than they are now. x3

Since I'm not sure of their story yet, I just made something up for the purpose of this picture. Here's my thought process.

Mahari and Mizu have been friends since they were little, and are very close. Mahari has had a crush on her for years, but Mizu is... well, Mizu. In any case, they hang out all the time. It's common for the people they come across to assume they're a couple--not that Mahari minds, or that Mizu notices.

But sometimes it's a problem because they'll come across someone who doesn't approve of alteran/human relationships, like here. xD

So!

When the club owner refused to let them in, Mahari started off on a rage about the injustice of it, going off into alteran rights and human prejudice. And then Mizu went into a laughing fit when she realized why they were being refused.

Some thoughts for dialogue...

Mahari "Don't you see how unfair this is! Your prejudice is holding back the freedoms of an entire RACE of people!"

Club Owner "Really... your friend doesn't seem to be too held back..."

Mahari (turns around) "Mizu... can't you at least pretend to
be upset?"

Mizu "Oh, sorry." (pauses) ;___;
